I use this soft lens case to keep my Nikkor 85mm f1.8D lens in. It adds a measure of protection while stored in a cabinet or tucked in my camera bag. The bag is well built with a stiff reinforcement in the bottom for added protection. The pull string closure keeps the bag closed yet opens quickly. This bag is not intended to be stand alone protection for your lens. I recommend this to anyone.
