I got this bag because it was the one recommended specifically for my lens. That recommendation came both from Adorama and from Ken Rockwell. Well, they must know something that I don't because there is easily 6 inches of space at the top of the bag when I put the lens in. Even with a camera mounted on the lens, it is pretty loose. Not a probablem to stick in a bit more foam, but I would have expected it to feel a bit more secure.
I would recommend the bag, but I would suggest that they decide which bag is the right size for their lens.
