I use this product to carry a Bogen 3251 with a 400 geared head in the field at extreme altitudes. The strap layout makes for easy carrying in both positions, shoulder or hand. The canvas material is great in an abrasive and wet environment. I applied a waterproof agent for additional protection. A very solid zipper. As the geared head stays mounted I need to leave the camera plate vertical adjustment knob protruding a bit at the zipper. A minute inconvenience. Other than that, perfect.
