I am a big fan of the original Porter Cases. When after many, many years of hard usage the handle on mine broke, I sent it in for repair. But needing something quickly, I ordered this model, which now costs about as much as my original did ten years ago. Big mistake. There are two fatal flaws to this version: 1) it is cumbersome and time consuming to change this case over to a small dolly and then back again to a simple roll-along case; 2) if you are reasonably tall, the handle at full extension is too short. As a result, you pull the case up rather than forward, making it difficult to pull along except on the smoothest floors. I think a third problem is the tiny wheels. In addition, the case top and bottom provide very limited protection to contents.
