I use Pelican and Hardigg cases professionally in the military to transport $50k dollar satellite communications equipment. Personally, I have broken Delsey, American Tourister and Samsonite hard side luggage. They are a few ounces heavier than conventional luggage but what's a few ounces when you are rolling it around anyway. My laptop, camera, and undies have never been safer. Speaking of safe, there are reinforced brackets for two full sized padlocks on the case to keep your valuables secure.
