Bought this specifically for canoeing on the Root River in southeastern Minnesota last weekend, and it turned out to be the most important piece of equipment I brought with me!
It survived sitting out in the rain all night, laying in fine sand for hours, heavy condensation in the morning, and being submerged when our canoe tipped over; all without any leaks or other damage to the gear inside.
I only wish I had gotten a larger one with enough room to fit my brother's Canon Powershot s70 inside, which ended up in the river and ruined.
