This is the third iM2750 Storm Case I have purchased. We also have two of the Pelican 1620 cases which are equivalent in size and features. The iM2750 case has more durable wheels, axles and better latches. The empty weight is about a pound lighter than the Pelican 1620. We transport aircraft tools and equipment to job sites all over the United States, and occasionally to foreign countries. These cases are checked onto commercial aircraft weekly and usually weight 60-75lbs when loaded. They have survived the abuse of baggage handlers, and our road crew personnel very well. I purchased this one to replace one that was stolen. If you use this case for travel I strongly suggest engraving your name, phone number and company info on it. In addition to engraving we stencil our company name on them and phone number with Krylon Fusion plastic paint. It makes them easier to find at the airport and the engraving is almost impossible to remove without destroying the case. The case has provisions to attach a TSA (Transportation Security Administration) lock to it.
