This program turns a digital shot into film. There are over 200 different films and variations of exposure. It is wonderful to see film grain instead of those ugly pixels!!. You can push film a couple of stops, simulate cross processing, simulating soft focus and the list goes on and on. If you used to be a 35mm person you will feel right at home again if you've been totally digital you'll finally see how much you've been missing and how much better a photo can be.

Used as a filter in Photoshop CS3, Alien Skin Exposure 2 is relatively fast and produces a highly accurate rendition of film processes. Varied film types and development methods are easily simulated within the digital file including infra-red. Exposure 2 is used on about a quarter of the fine art prints that we produce with excellent results. Though fast, it does not take full advantage of multi-core processing. This hopefully will get addressed in an update.
