As a photography enthusiast/hobbyist Photoshop CS3 offers me an unexpected potential for refining my pictures - from High Dynamic Range and panorama composites to subtle modifications of targeted areas in single pictures when for example making montages.
But you do need a separate guide book or access to video tutorials (one month at Lyndas is complimentary) cos' this software is a monster of (well thought out) functions!
Cannot recommend it enough.
