I have a expresscard 54 slot on my laptop and bought this device for downloading my compact flash card.The download of photos was faster then my usb device.
However from the beginning I had problems, when I called Delkin they said I had to install the drivers from their website first to get it to be recognized by my windows7 64 bit machine. Worked several times after that, however, twice I had to reload the drivers from Delkin's website as the device was not being recognized by my computer and reinstalling them was the only way to get it to be recognized again. Too unreliable to keep, going back to the inexpensive USB reader.
I returned the product today.

The card reader is mandatory thanks to Dell opting for this style of card instead of the standard PCMCIA slot on their laptops so I had no options other than this. The card reader is sturdy and has never let me down yet.
