I love this pen tablet. If you want to edit photos super fast this is a must have. Love the levels of sensitivity.

I used the tablet for several years with Windows XP operating Adobe CS2 and then CS3. I absolutely love it and couldn't imagine using Photoshop without it.
Then I bought a new computer which came with VISTA. I was eager to use it with 4 times the memory and a faster clock speed. It lost a serious amount of flexibility and all the use of the pads buttons and sliders. Nothing I have downloaded and reinstalled will make it work to teh level it previously did.

I work for a company retouching pictures. I left using a mouse and was a little scared to hear that we got these to use. I came back and the first two days I hated it. After I got the hang of it. I love the pen pad. I cant wait to get one for home. It has almost doubled my productivity. I'm sure my boss loves that.

The Intuos3 6"x8" is a good resonable size for graphics and Photoshop work. The pen movement feels natural, though it takes a little time getting used to. The pad size offers a fine degree of control, much more over the smaller size offering, plus the addition of a mouse makes the whole unit pretty much complete. For the price it saves a hell of a lot of work, and nerves. Installation is so easy. At a minimum just plug it in, and away you go. The additional software allows customisation of the buttons, pen, and mouse and also allows specific customisation unique to applications, and also includes extra software brushes for Photoshop use. The overall size is no bigger than my Toshiba A7 Laptop, and is weighty enough to stay put on the desk, and thin enough to include in the laptop case.

The pen interface is so much more natural to me than the mouse. I'm not quite as fast with it yet using some functions after a day or two, but I am more accurate. Blurring edges and cloning in Photoshop was much easier and I can tell my speed will increase with practice.
