Overall I have been very pleased with the CTR-500. My only gripe is the bulky power adapter. It detracts from the otherwise excellent portability. I would like to see a more compact supply, with a folding plug connecter, maybe a retractable cord. For the high price of this router, there should not be any compromises. Would give 5 stars if it shipped with a better adapter. Functionally, it is excellent. I use it with my Novatel V740 ExpressCard modem and it grabs the signal quickly and consistently. I see no slow down of performance compared with directly plugging the modem into my laptop.

This is the BEST portable cellular router. Its the only portable that features an actual ExpressCard slot -- no adapters needed!
And it even does FAILOVER between sprint and verizon EVDO devices!
