Really happy with the size of this portable drive.
I am going on a safari and need to back up my photos every day. Easy to use and you can check the download by watching the amount of gigs left on the hard drive.
Only drawback is not being able to see the images but if you keep track of the amount downloaded you can feel secure.
Easy to use and fast download.
Excellent choice.

I only had the drive for about a month, so didn't have a chance to use it much, but took it on a short vacation over Christmas as a backup to my laptop. Luckily, I didn't use it as my prime photo storage. I had some problems inserting the mini-USB connector to my laptop. After about four or five times, the cable connector managed to pull the insert out of the connector on the drive. This made the drive a WOM (Write Only Memory). Luckily, I had loaded my photos on my laptop first, so nothing was permanently lost. Adorama volunteered to replace the unit when I wrote and told them. I sent it back and am presently awaiting replacement.
It appears to download pictures from CF cards pretty quickly.
Adorama offers a spare battery, which I ordered, but the battery is sealed inside the unit, so it can't be used as a quick replacement.
