Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint 64-in-1 Multi-Card Reader with USB -480 MSPS:
It draws a lot of power, might not be best for a laptop. It can get quite hot, don't leave plugged in. Each slot registers as a separate drive, best to lable them. Low price/quality. Worked well for photo downloads for first 80 days.

I moved away from using a USB 1.0 transfer device. It was a generic brand and I'm glad to move to Flashpoint's card reader device. The multi transfer/reading capabilities opens doors to speeding your workflow.

Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint 64-in-1 Multi-Card Reader with USB -480 MSPS:
Item not quite as described. Description indicates metal construction. Unit is all plastic. CF card slot is very shallow and guides are not precise. Unlike my San Disk unit, I have to concentrate on inserting the card.
Claims to read 64 types of cards. The unit only has icons / symbols for 7 types and no instructions about what slots to use for the other types.
Unit performs well, transfers are fast just disappointed with the construction.

Seemed to be a replacement for my two different card readers (compact flash & SDHC); but when I plugged into into my iMac dual core Intel processor desktop, the computer auto disconnected the reader unit due to excessive current draw. Plan to try in a different USB port.
