Seemed like a fine cable however it didn't work between my Canon camcorder (HV30) and my MacBook Pro 13". A cable with same characteristics from another manufacturer did fine. Probably just a random glitch in manufacturing; Adorama quickly accepted the return and refunded my purchase and I would have no reservations in making an additional purchase in the future.
