Cartridges seem to dry out without frequent use. Good thing is they are now individually sealed in airtight plastic.

Great printer which requires great ink. I only use Canon brand ink because I use this printer for photos. I don't want to compromise my photos. My old HP is fine for all other documents. The results with 13"x19" prints are outstanding! It uses gray ink a little more that the other colors. Perhaps that size should have been a bit larger than the others, small quibble though. Great printer.
