Looks like photo lab matte paper

I've been using the Canon Semi-Gloss paper for a couple of years and get better results than I can from a mini-lab. Being a pro, I have come to prefer the way that a true matte surface renders skin tones. This paper has a surface almost identical to Kodak's N surface RA papers, just like you used to get at professional photo labs, back when there were good professional photo labs. I've never tried it on a non-Canon printer, but my Pixma Pro 9000 and my roommate's older Pixma iP4300 get impressive results.

The 8-1/2x11 paper lets me get borderless 8x10's for about the same price as 8x10 paper, which requires a white border on my printer.
