Even with an Epson 3800 which does not have a roll paper feed, this 10" roll plus a good paper cutter is a good way to get 8x10 and 5x7 sheets without any paper waste (unlike trimming from 8.5x11).
I think the weight is slightly lower than the ultra premium luster sold in sheet sizes.
It also gives the option of 10x10 prints for albums or 10x15 frameables (not to mention longer panoramas) without waste.
