The pearl finish is similar to Ilford's black and white silver gelatin paper I fell in love with decades ago. It is not a tacky "luster" five and dime paper. Dries very quickly and really does look exactly like a wet-dip print. No tell-tale ink jet look when held at an angle to the light.
