I purchased this bag to travel to Hawaii. I packed my heavy lenses, camera, filters, batteries/chargers, etc. and laptop. This bag was a lifesaver over carrying bags, however when it was time to stow above or store under airline seats, it was pretty heavy! That's the price you pay for carrying everything in 1 bag! I love it!

I wanted a rolling bag that didn't look like a big black rectangle, and this bag more than fit the bill. Plus I wanted a roller that would allow me to stack a smaller bag on top and roll them both, for air travel and otherwise. I even bought a second, smaller Jille bag that is designed to stack on top of this one (the two are often sold together) and I don't feel that the stacking is stable. That really annoyed me as I was paying top dollar for the second bag (got a discount on this bag) to make sure the matching set would function properly. I chose two "smaller" bags instead of one really large one thinking that each one would be easier to handle than one big bag. I guess that's still true, but I'm not sure it was worth it. All that said, the bag looks fantastic, as does the smaller one, and possibly doesn't scream "expensive photo equipment!" which was also a draw. This is a bag clearly designed for a woman (although I guess some men might like it) I'm not sure if it's weatherproof as I haven't really had a chance to test that. I also feel it's too soon to comment on ruggedness (I've used it 4-5 times, but so far it does roll well, thank god, or I would have had to return it).
My main gripes about this bag are:
1. Doesn't hold as much as advertised
2. It's difficult to close even with empty space
3. Even when not fully loaded, it is extremely heavy. Fully loaded, I would die in an airport if the rolling feature broke. That's a little scary.
4. It is not particularly stable; tends to flop forward even when the handle is not extended, so I usually store it against as wall.
5. Doesn't support a bag stacked on top of it well since it narrows when closed. That is a BIG flaw for me.
So, while I don't believe it holds quite as much as advertised, most bags don't anyway - but at least they come with a photograph of the bag all loaded up so that you can see if you're not using the space as efficiently as you could. I am still wondering if I'm missing some obvious better configuration, especially one that would be more stable, even if I removed only some equipment from the bag.
Even if you don't overload it, it is not easy to zip the bag closed. You certainly can't do it with one hand. On top of the zipper issue, the two short leather straps that one might use to lift the bag (which are not exactly soft and comfy) don't stay in place and almost always get in the way of the zipper by flopping back and forth in its way. More than a little annoying.
The bag will hold 2 pro bodies and 2-3 lenses, plus manuals, papers & small accessories in the outside pockets. (I have a D3, D700+battery pack, 28-70/2.8, 70-200/2.8 and a 14-24/2.8 plus all manuals, blower, extra batteries and CF cards)
I am not a pro photographer, but I do shoot in situations with other pros and obviously have pro-level equipment. Fortunately, I don't have to travel with it on a daily basis, so you might want to know that while reading this.
Bottom line, I don't think I would buy this bag again unless it were significantly cheaper (and I got it for about 25% off as it was) because then I wouldn't mind if I only used it on certain occasions. But I thought this would be my main bag, and I'm not sure if it can be. I'm worried about the first time I have to walk through airports with something less-than-stable stacked on top of it, which was one of the key attractions for me with this bag. So that could be a deal breaker. I guess a couple of bungie cords might be in order. Won't those look lovely.
I think a rolling back pack that starts off very light may be the smartest bet, so that you can always carry it on your back if absolutely necessary, but those do tend to look very much like they are carrying expensive equipment.

I love the look of this bag, but the straps on the top seemed in the way to me. I like to be able to get to my stuff easily. Plus it seemed like there was a lot of empty space at the top of the bag. The dividers only came about half way up and then the rest was just open space.

I love the protection it offers, and the ease of the rolling feature, but it is just too much bulk to bring on a shoot. i would suggest it for travel and storage only.
