I needed a larger capacity CF for my camera. I don't shoot video so speed was not an issue, but reliability was. Kingston came through with high capacity and a great price.

When your out for the day and you don't want to work about switching cards at a critical moment this card has plenty of storage to get the job done.

I bought 2 of these and BOTH produce corrupt images. [...] how are you supposed to get ur money's worth? Ur not! You have to contact the manufacture and it is a hassle....so I just bought a different brand...bumb cards!! Not sure if they are defective or just not fast enough for the Canon EOS 7D.
Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 32 GB, 133x Elite Pro Compact Flash Memory Card:
I will never buy Kingston again. This card did not work in my Canon 7D even after Kingston, Canon, [...] and [...] all telling me that it should work for video.

Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 32 GB, 133x Elite Pro Compact Flash Memory Card:
Great buy for video on 7D or 5DM2!!!
Ive owned this card for over a year and have used it in a 50D and 5DM2 with no errors (some Nikon users have reported errors with RAW record only but I have not tested)it has been completely reliable for me on my Canons! I own a Photofast GMonster 16GB 533x plus card as well, that I bought for maximum speed (one of the fastest currently out) and they both perform identically in the 5DM2 at 1080p 30fps video (NO LAG). For stills however... shooting continuous in both 5DM2 and 50D will give me on average around 18 large raw pics (give or take a few)before it fills the buffer and resorts to the card speed in which the Gmonster will almost double that before it slows to 3fps at buffer full . Other than that and the slightly faster data transfer times are the only real advantages to using my more expensive card and at three times the price and half the storage of this one. Both are great cards I might add just for different purposes... if your buying big for video only, save yourself some money and buy this, it performs the same in mine... and to the review that stated that the 5DM2 paused the video when you shot the still, that's the way it works on the 5DM2 (read your manual)video halts until the still is recorded and then resumes (I have tested this to be true). Trust me that bummed me out too! (the pause did seem shorter with the Gmonster however but not allot) Maybe a future firmware update from canon will change this I hope. Currently not a card speed issue thought.

I've only been using the card for my Canon 7D for about a month, but I don't have any complaints thus far. It performs great and the price is very nice for 32 GBs. Highly recommend.

[...] I can't wait how it works so I immediately inserted in my Canon 7D and shot as many as I can immagine. When I connected to the PC the CF works well and fast. Do doubt kingston Technology is the best and cheapest. [...]

Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 32 GB, 133x Elite Pro Compact Flash Memory Card:
Great card, great value. I would basically echo everything that others have said here, but it's "Nex" 's review that was right on the money for video. Used in a Canon 7d, on 24fps full HD video recording my "writing warning" status bar would come up and the video recording will be halted. It will do this arbitrarily after 3:45, then maybe 11:13, then 7:56, etc. If you're filming primarily video, just go with a faster card. I gave it 5 stars because it does what it's supposed to do, but it's just not fast enough for large video on the 7d.

I use this card with a Canon 5D mark II. At the largest raw setting I get just over 1200 images. It reads and writes very fast and is 100% reliable. It is the best value I have found for a memory card.

Speed is reasonable fast and absolutely enough for 1080P video on a 5D2. Reliable, this is my 5th kingston CF card, trouble free. best value!

Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 32 GB, 133x Elite Pro Compact Flash Memory Card:
This 32GB 133x Kingston have it's good and bad.
I'll start with the bad: The card's initial start time is very slow compare to smaller size CF cards (8gb, 16gb). It means when you put the cf card in your camera slot, the camera would take at least 5-7 seconds to initialize with the memory card (CF indicator on and camera freezes for about 5-7 seconds) The card is also very slow if formated in-camera. It takes around 10 seconds to format the card in camera, even though what the camera do is just a quick format(smaller size CF cards would do this in 0.5-1.5 seconds).
Sometimes the preview would also take a bit longer to come up when used with this CF card.
The good side: write and read speed on this card is very good, almost as fast as sandisk extreme iii when I was downloading images and doing writing tests to the card. CF cards are in general very reliable and rarely breaks.
The card was tested on both a Nikon D70 and D700 cameras.
I would recommend it for non-critical work where timing and slow startup time is not an issue. For professional works, I'd stay away from it and choose Sandisk or Lexar instead.

I am a student photographer and a assistant wedding photographer. I use this cf card in my Canon 5d mark II. I use it for weddings and at school. It really is a great deal. At my largest raw file setting I get over a 1000's images. It downloades fast and so far is very reliable.
Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 32 GB, 133x Elite Pro Compact Flash Memory Card:
I shoot a lot of concerts which include tons of crowd shots and this saved my butt on one occasion already. Had it loaded in the camera, but forgot the rest of the cards at home. If this had happened with one of my 2GB cards, I would've been toast. Imagine having in your camera what we used to consider a large hard drive not all that many years ago. Writes fast, reads fast. Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 32 GB, 133x Elite Pro Compact Flash Memory Card:
Works well with Canon 5d MII. However, can not simultaneously shoot HD video and shoot a full still RAW. The processing meter on the right side of the LCD screen will beginning indicating that it is processing and then it will reach maximum transfer rate and the video will freeze and end recording.
Everything else seems to work. I will not be using the feature above, so this card works great for me. In continuous RAW shooting it will shoot 13 shots then it will take about 10-13 seconds to process. Transfer rate is fast from camera to computer.
Its priced very well.
Comments about Kingston Technology Kingston Technology 32 GB, 133x Elite Pro Compact Flash Memory Card:
Works very well with Canon 5D MKII. Fast enough to keep up with my style of shooting. Holds close to 1000 pics using the highest quality setting (Raw+L)
Now I can do a whole photo shoot without having to stop and switch cards.
