While on the road, I need to store the photos I take. This is the right size for my needs. it also has a several cables to connect with your computer. The USB cable is connected to the drive, so at very lest, that is available. there is also Firewire 800/800, 400/400 and a 400/800 cables, which just about covers everything. Unfortunately, the firewire cable must be carried separately. I use a MacBook Pro and it works great.
