I use this hard drive to back up all my pictures and video. It is very easy to use. The good thing
is that you can not lose the usb wire. And no need
extra power for the device.

Drive was easy to set up on my MacBook Pro. I use it mostly for backup and large file transfers. The built in USB cable is nice, but a bit short for some connections. It would be nice if they included an extender. Although a bit heavy, the case is very sturdy. You could probably drive over it without damaging it. I have generally had good experiences with LaCie drives over many years.
