For photography, no problems, but when I shoot videos (I have a D3s) the clips are sometimes corrupted or they just don't save on the card..

I bought this to replace my Sandisk Extreme III 16gb card for use in my d700. Upon first use; I put the card in and the estimated photo capacity is 605 (the sandisk 16gb was 620). I have not filled the card yet, but it appears that the same number or even slightly more photos may be possible with this card (estimates vary). I upgraded to this after having to wait for my buffer when eagles were flying past me, or a mountain goat stomping and charging. It is hard to tell but it does seem to write faster, however # of photos per burst before having to wait for the buffer has not increased greatly, from about 14 shots to 17 or 18. I believe the d700 may be a strong factor in these numbers, also I do wait less before the next burst. I was expecting more for changing from a claimed 30mbs to a minimum of 90mbs. My expectations may not be founded in reality. Transfer times do not appear to change, I have not tried the Lexar memory reader.

I shoot a lot of wildlife and I tested on birds on the wing!
It is definitely faster than all others I've tested but honestly doesn't seem to be as fast as they claim on the card :-(
Have used it about 40 times so far with no glitches whatsoever!
NEVER had an issue with extreme weather and that is very critical for me!

Good write speed when using with Canon 7D. The buffer does fill up when using burst mode. But it doesn't take long for the camera to clear its buffer due to the performance of Lexar card.

This Lexar CF card seems to have a noticeably faster write speed than the SanDisk 16gb Extreme IV CF in my Canon 1D Mark IV (I presum,e it will be faster in all cameras??). I didn't measure the write times for the cards, so I can't say how much faster it was (10-20% is my guess, based on shooting thousands of shots with each card at Airshows using the 10 fps High Speed drive mode). The downloading read speed for the Lexar and the SanDisk are both very sloooooow. I understand Lexar will have a new card reader soon that is supposed to speed the downloads.
