The battery life is amazing on this unit... a full 9 hours on one charge. I need it for school and lots of projects/writing/blog work so I can sit anywhere for hours and finish research and papers without worrying about battery life - unlike my MacBook...
Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel are added benefits that I need and including these basic programs really sold me on Asus. At just over two pounds, I can drop it in a purse and just go. -LOVE this model and would recommend it to anyone looking for portability, long battery life, and a lightweight alternative to heavier laptops. Only drawback? Well... it's not a MAC, but you can't have everything.
