Pro: With DVD-RAM discs there is no formating disc vs. dvd(+-)r,rw. I can copy a 1 hour of video in 7 to 14 mins to a PC hard drive compared to 1hr with miniDV tapes.
Cons: The DVD-RAM disc(8cm) don't have a place to label the content recorded on the disc. This makes it difficult to know what's on the disc when once it's out of it case with other RAM discs.
