OK, granted I am a relative newbie on a Mac, but I am an old Windoze/Unix/Linux hack and i've endured computer hell for longer than many of you have been peeing in a pot, so I would assume that the Mac OSX 10.6 would be able to recognize its USB device after plugging it in. Instead, the new Mac Mini I just bought seemed to see it on the 2nd plugin attempt and began a long OS update cycle.After clicking through some legal screen that implied maybe it was actually an ITunes update I was getting, the system finally rebooted and Voila - still nada! No new device in my System Preferences or on my Desktop[...]Thanks-dav0
