I've already recommended this deal to two friends who've ordered as well. I upgraded from a Digital Rebel XT and absolutely LOVE this camera. It's built like a tank, takes fabulous photos and is very FASTTTTTTTTTTT - something I need as I do a lot of sports action photography. The undersized Rebel XT felt like a cheap toy in my hands in comparison. I just used it to do a photo expose of the I-35W Bridge Collapse here in Minneapolis and it took absolutely wonderful photos in both color and B&W. [...] 5-STARS!!

I bought the Canon 20D when it first came out and this refurbished comes with all the same items as the new camera body, but it does come in a white box from Canon that indicates it is refurbished. It looked new when I opened the box and it works as great as the new one. I would recommend this as a purchase option if you are interested in upgrading to a digital camera. It is light and well constructed. You will not be disappointed!

This Camera has traveled with me all over the U.S. and all the way to Europe and back. My photos are remarkable! The camera almost always captures the most dynamic and concise images imaginable. Colors are stunning, and the customizable parameters are fantastic. When in Greece, I was able to quickly shift from parameters set for outdoor photography to those for indoor, as everyday I saw an outdoor archeology site and an indoor museum.
This is a fantastic product, especially for the price.

Obviously i was fully aware of the 20D prior to purchase, so my review is more for those folks considering a refurbished model.
The 20D is shipped in a plain white box clearly marked "refurbished", however has everything that a new camera comes with.
My 20D was perfect cosmetically and operationally and i would be happy to buy refurbished Canon gear again.

This is a great digital camera that I've used for professional and personal shots. Very intuitive, with RAW and/or Jpeg capabilities.
The built in flash does well in a pinch.
Would like spot metering, but with instant image feedback with a histogram you can easily bracket to capture a different exposure.
