No real complaints because it's relatively cheap and simple. I'd like the background piece (protecting the film from the bulb) to be a purer white instead of yellowish, to see detail better. Or maybe just a brighter bulb.

I have thousands of slides that I have taken over the years from around the world. With the computer and digital age we not put all our photos on the computer and the obviously you don't want to put every slide on the computer.
We use the product to review each slide and determine which ones we want to scan. Makes it much better than trying to get the projector working again or buying a new one.

GREAT FOR LOOKING AT YOUR 35MM SLIDES. DOES NOT ENLARGE MUCH BUT EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED FOR VIEWING AND SORTING. DON'T EXPECT A SUPER PROJECTOR, BUT IS DOES JUST WHAT IT WAS INTENDED TO DO. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG FOR THE PRICE

Went through 4000 slides. Half way through the bulb burned out. Fortunately I took the advice of others and ordered a bulb when I ordered this unit. I bought the transformer also but it is expensive compared to using batteries. If you are going to use this unit for many years I would go ahead and get the transformer.

I purchased this item in order to review slides created with K14 Kodachrome processing. It enables me to easily look at transparencies and decide which ones I want to have printed as enlargements. It shows 2" x 2" images with bright and accurate color. Details such a faces in group pictures are not always clear due to the limited size.
