By digitizing my slides and storing them on cd's, I thought I could destroy and throw away my slides....but I thought...what if??? So I'm consolidating the space I used to keep slides, slide trays and the projector but not destroying the slides, just the trays and projector. By keeping the slides and storing them in these slide storage boxes....I have peace of mind....just in case.

Con....One of the two trays had a bent hinge. I was able to straighten it but it will be weaker than the other.
This appears to be a flaw in construction as other people have experienced a similar problem.
Pro....Easy to load and label with 35mm slides.

So far I've filled 15 of the Logan storage boxes. That's about 22,500 slides, part of a lifetime's collection, safely organized and stored. Because of the handle on top, the boxes don't stack well, so I recommend keeping them in the sturdy cardboard boxes in which they're packaged; this also provides a way to label them. I also have a Logan slide sorter. After many decades of use, its plastic slide rack became yellow. I called Logan, and they replaced the plastic at a reasonable cost. Good company, good products.
