Note: Delta has introduced this product as the Water Temp II (with the addition of Temp Lok) since I purchased it, so this review reflects the same product, but in its previous version.

I use this thermometer to regulate the temperature of the water mix feeding into my print washer. Also, I use it to precisely control the temperature of tap water used in mixing my chemistry and filling my tempering baths.

After several years of regular use, I have developed a high degree of confidence in this product. Of course, some very basic plumbing skills may be necessary to install this thermometer in-line with your plumbing in the way which works best for your particular darkroom set up. The "plumbing" can be as simple as garden hose connections at the inlet and outlet, or you can hard-pipe the unit with 1/2" galvanized steel for a more permanent installation, which is what I did.

If the need ever arose, I would purchase this product again.
