While this is my first grain focuser, I can easily see why people spend the money on the Peak model. This focuser, while cheap and functional, can be hard to use sometimes when I'm hunched over the baseboard with arms outstretched trying to focus the enlarging head. Additionally, if you have glasses using this focuser may turn out to be somewhat of a challenge.

This device does work as advertised though, you will see the grain pop into focus once you get the hang of using it.
