I've used this to shoot multiple still lifes, as well as nature and people. I find it to be a bit more contrasty than say HP5+ or Kodak T-max 400, but those are 400 speed films anyways. If Im layering images either in the camera or the darkroom I find this film gives the best results.

I gave some rolls of this to my beginning students at my FREE photography classes and the students aged 7 through 12 used the film easily.
I gave each student my old Pentax and a roll of film and asked them to take photos of something they had never taken photos of. We developed the film together and we got some very nice images.
Film worked out well and was much sharper than some other films I have recently tried.

Ilford Delta 100 is a modern T-grain emulsion and is similar to others of this type. It produces a very sharp, contrasty image. (Of course, your results may vary depending on how you develop it.) The contrasty appearance is somewhat at the expense of mid-tones. With an orange or red filter, contrast can be pushed even further giving an interesting "other-world" look reminiscent (almost) of infra-red. Great stuff, like anything from Ilford.
