Comments about Ilford Ilford Delta Pro 400 Fast Fine Grain Black and White Film, ISO 400, 35mm, 24 Exposures:

Delta 400 is a good all around film. I use it at 200 asa for low light studio figure work up to 1600 asa for night time street and event photography. I usually develop it -1 on time, but it depends on the subject and contrast of the scene. For photojournalism/street it works well at 400 or 800 and still holds a good range. Grain is appropriate for the speed.

Comments about Ilford Ilford Delta Pro 400 Fast Fine Grain Black and White Film, ISO 400, 35mm, 24 Exposures:

it was hard to give up Tri-X after years of shooting and wanting to stick with an American brand but Delta is a step better. I avoid shooting with a flash and my lenses are a bit slow so I shoot 400. no problems with grain in the delta I recomend sprint development though I have only compared against Kodak I can not speak for Ilford's chemicals.
