Comments about Kodak Kodak Kodalux PK-36 Slide Film Mailer for 35mm Size Slide Film, 36 Exposure Rolls.:
unfortunately Kodak no longer processes kodachrome and it must now be sent to Dwayne's Photo Service 415 S. 32nd Street, Parsons, KS 67357. They accept prepaid kodak mailers and their turn around time varies from 1-2 weeks. I am unaware of any other kodachrome processor in the USA. So mailers are very convenient

Just pop your favorite roll of slide film in the mailer and in a few days the slides are procesed and returned to you. I used this mailer to compare on my lightboard how well the color reproduction was compared to Fuji. I did submit Fuji slide film with this mailer. Spot on...Excellent and easy.
Comments about Kodak Kodak Kodalux PK-36 Slide Film Mailer for 35mm Size Slide Film, 36 Exposure Rolls.:
Processing quality of Kodachrome slide film has improved greatly since Kodak took back the process from Qualux (spelling). I do not miss the holes, scratches, spots etc that used to show up in some of my slides.

No one process slide film as well as Kodak.

Drop it in the mail and the job gets done. I have never had a problem with kodalux mailers.
Comments about Kodak Kodak Kodalux PK-36 Slide Film Mailer for 35mm Size Slide Film, 36 Exposure Rolls.:
I have shot the E100 family since the rather poor Lumiere films were discontinued. I generally shoot the warmer X films. A key feature is a more natural contrast range. I have tried several of the Fujichromes, and while some greens there are more accurate I always find myself returning to Kodak.
Comments about Kodak Kodak Kodalux PK-36 Slide Film Mailer for 35mm Size Slide Film, 36 Exposure Rolls.:
I've used Kodak mailers for years for both Kodak and Fugi film. I've never had film lost and the slides have always looked great. Turnaround time is good, they are always back within a week. I've never had any damaged or scratched slides. The cost is great compared to the local pro lab and is quicker than having the drugstore send out the film to the same place.

Handy but unfortunately, Kodak no long processes the slides. It is all done (even Fuji mailers) by an independent processor located in Kansas City, MO. There has been a huge cost increase in these mailers over the past couple of years too.
Comments about Kodak Kodak Kodalux PK-36 Slide Film Mailer for 35mm Size Slide Film, 36 Exposure Rolls.:
PK-36 mailers are really the only way to get Kodachrome slides developed. Unfortunately, Kodak changed labs last August soon after I purchased the mailers. The mailers, which had an expiration date of 2/28/07, had an address that was out of date by August 2006. As a result, 3 sets of my slides have been lost. This has me so frustrated, I'm ready to give up on slide photography altogether.

I trade slides with people all over the world. Seeing the name Kodak on the mount sets the industry standard.
