I had originally prchased the alien bees zeus ring flash, but it was plastic, flimsey, so I sold it after 2 days and bought the profoto ringlight. This one is very nice, all metal, made very well and looks professional.

The quality of the light is truly superb, but you have to put up with a device that is fragile to transport, and which is a bit complex and informally designed in the way that it attaches to your camera. I think that you can fit it to almost anything - that's true - but it always a little "hokey".
And be aware that there are limits to how fast you shoot with it, especially at high power settings.
