The beauty dish is great modifier for fashion and portraiture yielding very smooth tonality on skin tones yet retaining a snap to color and contrast.
The Hensel is different in that it permits the use of a grid over the tube yet allowing spill around to the edges to achieve a hot spot on your subject but still having a defined edge to the light circle.
The dish is a very useful modifier outside in windy locations.
