Comments about Novatron Novatron 100 Watt Tungsten Modeling Lamp.:

I've got a classic Novatron standard head and this is supposed to be a replacement for the modeling bulb. This seems about 20% larger than the original and slightly protrudes from the front of the reflector. This makes it so my grids and gels can't be used because they can't sit flush with the bulb in the way. I have to remove the lamp to use them. So it works, but it is not the real part and not what I was expecting. It is fine for umbrella or softbox use, though.

I ordered two Novatron Brand Bulbs, this product in fact, and received instead, two OSRAM brand Bellalux 100W/120V bulbs.

You might have a race car with no fuel, but you wouldn't have a professional flash system with no modeling light. These are must have items. Keep a spare or two.

I use Novatron throughout my studio. When my 100 watt model lights burn out it makes me sad. I order new ones [...]. They fit perfect and do a great job and I'm not sad anymore.
