Comments about Adorama Adorama Socket Set 2 with Light Stand Adapter:

This product is very good, but it doesn't stay secured, because there is nothing to attach it to the lightstand. It's just a thing you could put on and screw to make it tighter around the stand, but nothing to secure it to. Everything else is great, though!

Comments about Adorama Adorama Socket Set 2 with Light Stand Adapter:

Mine falls apart all the time, and it's especially irritating when the light are on for a while and you cant move it or turn it of without extra-extra precaution. Over all, I'd say get something else and save yourself the aggravation. This it's too cheap. Too cheap made. The same piece doesn't fit the reflector quite right, and the whole thing kind of falls apart.

Comments about Adorama Adorama Socket Set 2 with Light Stand Adapter:

Bought this as part of a beginner light kit that included 3 stands, 3 bowls?, an umbrella and a storage bag. The threads on this don't really fit the bowls that they sent. You have to force it on because it seems the bowl is a bit big. One of the light bulbs that came with the kit blew out as soon as I screwed it in and turned it on. Other than these two bad things, it's a good kit for a beginner. There are no instructions on how to put all of this together so you have to use your imagination hehe.

Comments about Adorama Adorama Socket Set 2 with Light Stand Adapter:

Use these with the 7.5' Chrome Kit Light Stand w/ 3/8" Stud. They have nice wooden handles to move. I use two 500 watt lamps. The only thing to beware of is that the on/off switches get very hot if these lamps have been on for a long time. My advise is to turn them off when not in use.
