It's perfect for taking pictures of small items like die-cast model cars, jewelry, coins, etc. There's not much that I would change about this shadow box kit, but one change would be the lighting, the 2 small 50W halogens are just barely adequate. I also found that the camera stand was a bit clumsy, making it impractical for shooting multiple angles of a single subject. My mini-tripod is a much better fit for a small shadow box like this one.

Other than those 2 small complaints, I absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone photographing small objects.

I purchased this to get the best photos of jewelry we make so they can be place online for sale. Tried photographing with and without the lights and did make a big difference. I like that there is not only the white back drop, but also the nice blue one, AND they are both reversible to the nylon type of material.

The lights could be a little stronger, but be careful the area surrounding the bulbs, including the plastic, gets hot to the touch.

This is VERY convenient and folds flat and I can hang it by it's handle in the closet on a coat hook. Easy to set up and take down.

This tiny studio is a good choice for beginers. It is easy to fold and carry, and it has two lights as well. The only cons is that the two studio lights are not powerful enough. But considering its price, I'd still recommend the set.

This lightbox is a neat little unit as it is a self contained storage unit as well. Easy setup and takedown, I store mine in the closet by inserting a hanger under the flap before buckling it shut. It is very portable and of course works as described by providing a glare free even light to photograph even the most reflective of items,eg. cell phones and glass items. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

Just arrive & I tested this, without greater persistence.
I do not like the camera stand has fragile plastic components but I feel good contentment whit my new acquisition.

bought this product to replace the one i already had which was destroyed by mold. This one is a bit smaller, but the product is more durable, lighter, and easier to set up than the old one i had. I'm buying another one as a christmas present for my dad. Its great for all uses other than portraits of course!!

It's great for photography of models, firearms or anything that fits within its confines. It is very reasonably priced and is a complete easily transported package. The only negative comment I have is that it was not made in the USA.

I use it for shooting product shots for stock agencys.Light weight, easy to use , the lights need weights on them so they dont fall over.After you shoot the product turn them of right away so the lights dont get hot and melt the plastic around them. Other than that they work excellent.

I've been looking forward to owning one of these for a while, I understand the concept and want to use it to photograph for[...] and catalog graphics - should work fine, BUT.. sorry to say there is not one piece of paperwork to show How to put it together correctly - I'm pretty smart,I'll figure it out, but still - basic instructions would be a plus. Seems to unfold somehow but, it is all individual (3) square pieces, held together with velcro, not quite what I expected, but it should be ok. On the plus side - great case, I think it works to support the light box - again, I'll have to figure it out.
