Comments about Westcott Westcott 27 watt Daylight 5500°K Fluorescent Lamp for Spiderlite TD5 (5 Pack):

Following several other review regarding the light out put I did a simple test comparing Flashpoint and Westcott Daylight balanced (5500K) flourecent light bulbs.1. Flashpoint 5500K 30W (FPFB30) - $32.452. Flashpoint 5500K 45W (FPFB45) - $36.953. Westcott 27W (WESLT275) - [$]. Westcott 50W - 4x50W, 1x20W (WE50WFL5P) - $146.90 I used a TD5 with a Westcott 36" x 48" Bruce Dorn Shallow Soft Box (no inner buffle)I measured about 12 feet from the light source using Sekonic 358, (ball inside) in a dark room. Wonderful lights if you need to keep the radiant heat temperature down. Not the brightest in the world, but work very well where you don't need a lot of light.
