Great light, small and easy to carry around. I only had used this light for shooting video but my only concern is the HEAT with the 800W bulb.

I got these for green screen lighting and they work quite well. I consider them a good value for the price, which obviously means that paying more gets a better product.

Note that you are to only use these in the horizontal position. Running them vertically burns out the bulb.

Comments about Lowel Lowel Tota-light, Wide Angle Quartz Light, 120, 220/240v; 300-800w:

The Tota lights are my favorite light source system for night/indoor video shooting. I have been using 1000W Tota lights for a number of years now and I will keep on using them till they die.

This small light weight unit is very powerful for a wide angle flood light. It has an impressive light spread of over 200 degree angle. Its amazing that with only a couple of these Tota light units, it can light up a very large room area when extending the lights up at 12-15 feet in the air. They produce very nice professional video picture results. If you bounce two Tota lights off the ceiling in smaller room settings you get great bright soft lighting with nice colors and depth of field.

With 1000W quartz bulbs they get very hot and should be handled with gloves. It wouldn't hurt if they charged a little more money and added a cooling fan to this system.

I love them and I am looking forward of getting couple more.
