very easy to use, even for the beginner. bulbs generate a lot of ambient heat. straightforward product, just make sure it's bright enough for its intended use.

I bought this kit to be part of my mobile setup, so that I could leave the expensive and heavy gear in the studio. Well, you get what you pay for ... The kit is definitely good for beginners but is not up to the task of traveling constantly, and the umbrellas that came with the kit are very cheaply made. If you are very gentle with this kit it will last you a good while. The light quality is good especially if you throw away the umbrellas that came with the kit and buy some better ones, or better yet get some soft boxes. All in all for the price the quality is not bad its obviously just not "pro" quality.

For about a year I struggled trying to "make do" with the lighting I had and it just wasn't cutting it. These allow me to get shots I never could have and are a good investment. They could be a bit more durable, so you need to be careful with them, but other than that, I am quite happy with them.
