The umbrella bracket was tight, I had trouble inserting the umbrella into the bracket. It finally went thru after applying WD40.
With the umbrella installed the reflector will tend to dip if you move the light around.

First time ever using any type of lighting--this was ok for the price paid--not saying that you get what you pay for (that has a negative overtone)the real weak points is that its flimsy at the top-when yo try to aim the light at an object it tends to lose its grip and slowly lower itself-the bulb is good though-just make sure your surroundings do not absorb the light (i shot in a room with yellow walls and the light was absorbed by the walls-making it harder to shoot). you can see examples of some of these photos soon at [@] portrature (the lady smoking a cigar)

ability to instantly see lighting "results" without having to take test shots makes supposedly old fashioned hot lights ideal for "portable" use
