It is heave than normal flash also do not forgot to buy the power pack :)
But it is great power, so expensive flash unit.

The 4 inch round diameter light source of the Quantum T5d-R provides a softer light output than shoe mounted flash units can provide. Personally, I prefer to use the Q67A wide angle diffuser, for a very even distributed light output that almost resembles not using any flash at all in many situations.

Shoot weddings and use for formals and outdoor fill flash. Switch back to Canon 580 for candids.
Also use in combination with 580 via Qnexus.

An excellent step up from the T2D. This is great as a stand-alone, but is even better when interfaced with the FreeXwire system. With ratio-control, this strobe greatly expands my capabilities on location shoots. I also use this for a portable studio set up, shooting into an umbrella.
