Comments about Hensel Hensel 10m Head Extension Cable for the Porty DC Power Packs.:

I had been evading the fact that I needed an extension cord in order to use both heads of my older Hensel Porty Premium DC Generator at the same time for years. The original cords on the heads are way, way too short to enable comfortable and safe work with both heads at a time, unless its a very tight setting. Even a single headshot portrait on exterior locations probes a challenge if you want to set up your lighting with both heads...

I finally gathered the nerve to let go of the almost 300 bucks this piece of wire and rubber is worth, and I have to say I am glad I did since the second I opened the box it came in.

Workmanship is superb, as in any Hensel product. The materials are first grade, giving it a rugged, pro feel upon touching it. The connectors are made of a strong, tough plastic and there are special caps permanently fixed to the extension cord itself (such that they won't get lost) to protect the connector pins from damage while the extension cord is not in use.
When you connect the extension to the head's cable or the Porty itself, the connection seems solid, tight and weather tight enough such that you could operate under heavy rain or even with the cable submerged under water (which I wouldn't try, anyway).

Its 10 meters add the degree of freedom I needed to be able to place the 2 heads where ever they are needed.

It is rather expensive, but worth it
