Unlike the SW-11, this is for relatively "normal" usage of SB-R200 and can be used like other "normal" flash - just like normal flash benefits from these diffuser. But, of course, SB-R200 is typically for closer objects. More for fill flash purpose outside, in my style. For indoor true flash needs, I use SB-900 and/or SB-600.
