I have several Gary Fong products in my flash diffusion bag of tools, including the Studio Whale Tail kit, Puffer and now the Universal Lightsphere Starter System. This system, when used correctly (see his videos on his web site) yields great results, is flexible in its applications and is very flattering for skin tones. Great softer light option for hot shoe flash units.

This product works!
It works as advertised and I don't think I can go back to take pictures without it!
I just love the application of the soft light both from the clear and the cloud. My portraits look so much better now.
My only gripe was that the website promised a tutorial DVD and it was not included in the box. I called Adorama and they promised to send the DVD but so far it has been a no show.
