I use this for my Alien Bees B800 with the giant 30" X 60" softbox. It's well constructed and the air cushioning is a great feature. Great value, have to give it 5 stars for the price.

In my humble opinion your money will not be better spent on any stand in this price class. Rock solid even with steel bodied strobes with soft boxes mounted. Air cushioned through each sections full range of motion. Wide Footprint assures full stability.

Cons: Knob heads should be metal not plastic, and they are a bit on the heavy side.
