I use these stands for my Alien Bee's and LARGE umbrella(s) [60in shoot through], they have yet to disapoint me! Of all the lighting equipment I have, these are the least of my worries.
My only complaint is that set up and tear down could be a bit quicker. But that's only because I use them out on location and am constantly moving them.
Im also always loadin wieght on them and pushing their strength to the limits. While shooting beach, everything stays attatched to the stand (extension cords, power packs, camera bag, EVERYTHING) and they dont seem to mind
Overall a GREAT product, especially for the price you're paying!!! I will be getting more of em.

I am a professional freelance photographer just starting up my own business, looking for equipment of good value. I bought two of this stand for a variety of uses, but mainly to have a couple of tall flash light / background support stands. They are strudy, well-built, relatively light weight, and economical. I didn't make a bad choice - you won't either.
